Smoothies and juices are a refreshing way to start the day.

Fresh fruits and juices have their best cleansing effects and energy conversion benefits when taken alone and before noon.

For a cold smoothie use chilled fruit rather than ice.

Refreshing Moringa Drinks

(serves 1)

Moringa Tea

Add 1 teaspoon of Moringa Powder to hot water, add any healthy sweetener, like molasses or stevia, strain and you have the healthiest cup of tea. Our Moringa Powder can also be added to a range of teas including Rooibos and Green Tea.

Moringa Cooler

Add half a teaspoon of Moringa Seed Oil to cold water with lemon or mint, and add a sweetener for a refreshing and healthy drink.( Optional: Add a quarter teaspoon Moringa Powder for a boost in nutrients)

½ cup Apples

1 large banana

½-1  flat tsp Moringa Leaf Powder

1 tbsp flax seeds

Preparation:

Place all the ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth.

1 ripe mango, peeled and chopped

1 cup cranberry juice

½-1  flat tsp Moringa Leaf Powder

¾ cup peach flavored yogurt

Preparation:

Place all the ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.

Flower and Root Juice

(serves 1-2)

Ingredients:

1 Cup broccoli

½ Cup carrots

¼ Cup beetroot

½-1  flat tsp Moringa Leaf Powder

Preparation:

Juice all the ingredients. Serve in a tall glass and garnish with a sprig of coriander.

Molasses and mixed herbs (optional)

Dijon Mustard (optional)

Pinch of salt

Pinch of Pepper

1 table spoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon Moringa seed oil

Preparation:

Mix ingredients together and serve as dressing.
